An application has been submitted for a McDonald's drive-thru to be built next to Lincolnshire Showground.

It would be located off the A15 near the Tillbridge Lane roundabout, just after the main entrance for Lincolnshire Showground.

The installation of up to 15 advertisement signs for of up to five years is requested in the application.

West Lindsey District Council received the forms, which are now up for public consultation.

Advertisement signs would include parking bays, menus and the iconic 'M' golden arches.

According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, it forms part of a larger development plan at the site, after approval was granted for a petrol station and drive-thru services hub on the corner of the roundabout.
