Shops in central London will earn an extra £50m thanks to the royal wedding, a retail group has claimed.
The New West End Company said its 600 members are expecting an extra 500,000 additional shoppers over the four-day weekend.
It also says there will be a "halo honeymoon effect" which will see sales rise by up to 10% for the rest of May.
Many West End staff who had to work on the wedding day wore hats and fascinators to raise money for charity.
