What is happening to our green and pleasant land?

Here's a piece I've done on the erosion of garden habitat in the capital.

According to the London Wildlife Trust, external (LWT), more and more green garden space is being lost to decking, paving and to housing developments.

The LWT says about 500 gardens a year are lost in London.
