Laura Johnson denies London riot theft charges

A teenager has pleaded not guilty to stealing from shops during the riots in London.
Laura Johnson, 19, from Orpington, south-east London, denied five counts of burglary and three counts of handling stolen goods.
The University of Exeter undergraduate is accused of stealing £5,000 worth of electronic goods during the disorder that erupted in August.
She is due to stand trial at Inner London Crown Court on 9 January.
