Reserved judgement in John Worboys' victims' damages case

Judgement has been reserved in the High Court case of sex attack victims who are seeking damages against their attacker and his vehicle insurers.
Eight women have asked Mr Justice Silber to rule on a unique action relating to the liability of motor insurers over the women's injuries.
John Worboys, 54, was convicted in 2009 of drugging and sexually assaulting women while working as a licensed London taxi driver.
Worboys was jailed indefinitely.
Edwin Glasgow QC, for the women, said the taxi was a "symbol of security which seduced these young women to believe they were safe," and "provided the means" for the attacks to take place.
The action is being contested by Worboys' insurers, who have been granted anonymity.
