Pink Floyd's Highgate home to be auctioned

A house in north London where founder members of the rock band Pink Floyd lived in the 1960s is to be auctioned.
The property in Stanhope Gardens, Highgate, has not changed since the band left, Savills auctioneer Russell Taylor said.
It has a guide price of £1.2 million.
The owner of the house, lighting technician Mike Leonard who died earlier this year, inspired the band's earliest name, Leonard's Lodgers.
Founded in 1965, the group originally consisted of university students Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and Syd Barrett.
All four lived in the house at some point.
Features of the property include musical instruments in the loft, a built-in speaker system, revolving lights, mirrored walls and an 80ft (24m) garden.
Savills auctioneer Russell Taylor said: "With the connection that this property has I'm sure that it will add some value to the right sort of buyer.
"Nothing's changed since the '60s. There's a great opportunity for a family to purchase this and put their own stamp on it."
The auction is on Thursday.
