Chiltern Railways toilets become 'inspiration stations'

"Bog-standard" toilets on Chiltern Railways' trains are being transformed with images inspired by places along its main route.
The rail firm wants to give passengers on its Birmingham to London trains "a window into a different world".
Floor to ceiling vinyl images are being installed in the toilets of its trains.
The first "inspiration station" has been designed to resemble Compton Verney, an 18th Century country mansion in Warwickshire.
'Relaxing surroundings'
Chiltern Railways director Thomas Ableman said: "We're always looking at ways to create a memorable experience for our passengers. Toilets are traditionally a place to avoid so we have transformed them into an inspirational space with a view.
"Our only concern is that they'll be so popular we'll have people queuing up for the best seat on the train."
A spokeswoman for Chiltern said it was working with attractions close to the route of the Birmingham to London trains to provide inspiration for its revamped toilets.
Toilets on all of the company's 19 Clubman trains will be updated, she told BBC News.
Dr Steven Parissien, Compton Verney director, said: "We are delighted that Compton Verney has been chosen by Chiltern Railways as a partner for this novel project.
"We hope that Chiltern customers will be inspired by our relaxing surroundings."
