New views during Tube strike

People in London have been changing their journeys during the 48-hour Tube strike. Many of them have been sharing pictures of views they don't usually see including Becky Baldwin, who took this shot of Canary Wharf from the Thames Clipper.

Paul said he walked from Waterloo to the City this morning and was rewarded with this fabulous sunrise from Millennium Bridge.

Henri Roe walked to work during the Tube strike and took this shot of statues in Regent's Park.

Lots of old buses have been seen on the roads, including this one spotted in Aldgate by Chloe Muir.

On the old bus theme Christina Vassiliou shared this picture saying: "This is the 'emergency service' bus I took to work yesterday. It even had a 'smokers are advised to occupy the rear seats' sign."

Valentina Coccia also took the bus and said of this shot of the Palace of Westminster: "At least the Tube strike gives me some beautiful views of London"

Monica Sarkar said she had never seen Argyll Street near Oxford Circus so quiet during an afternoon.

And underground Anna Hewitt said it was unusual to see Oxford Circus Tube station so quiet.
