Cyclist in fatal lorry collision on Ludgate Hill named
A cyclist who died three days after a collision with a lorry in the City of London has been named by police.
Janina Gehlau, 26, was on Ludgate Hill, close to the junction with Farringdon Street, when the crash happened at about 11:30 BST on Friday.
She was taken to the Royal London Hospital where she died on Monday with her family at her bedside, police said.
Ms Gehlau, from Dusseldorf, Germany, was studying for a Masters degree and completing her dissertation in London.
City of London Police said the lorry driver had not been arrested but officers were investigating the crash.
