Police have named a man who died after he was shot and stabbed in south London.

Ola Raji, 20, was found by officers who were called to reports of a shooting in East Surrey Grove, Peckham on the night of 21 April.

Police believe he was making his way through the estate on a bike when he was attacked by two people.

On Monday, a 24-year-old man from Peckham was arrested in connection with the murder.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Raji, from Peckham, died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Appealing for witnesses Det Ch Insp Will Reynolds said: "We believe that after being shot Ola may have had some property stolen from him.

"It is likely that he was wearing a small pouch or bag under his body warmer. This has not yet been found."
