Two doormen suffered "serious" injuries after they were stabbed outside a south London nightclub on Saturday morning.
Police said they were called to Fire nightclub in Parry Street, Vauxhall, at 01:40 GMT following reports of a fight and found the men with stab wounds.
The bouncers, who both worked at the venue, remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the Met have appealed for witnesses.
Ch Insp Roy Smith said: "I urge anyone who has any information in relation to this incident, no matter how insignificant you may feel it to be, to contact us."
The attack is not believed to be gang related.
