Tottenham stabbing: Teenager killed during knife fight

Police were called to Tottenham over reports of youths fighting with weapons

A teenager has been stabbed to death during a fight in north London.

Police had been called to the junction between Tottenham Green and Tynemouth Road at 17:15 BST over reports of several youths fighting with weapons.

They found the boy, who is believed to be aged 17, with critical knife injuries. He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Scotland Yard said officers were in the process of informing next of kin and have appealed for witnesses.

A spokesperson added the murder is not being linked to terrorism.

A cordon was set up by police in the area where the teenager was found
