Storm Eunice: How strong winds hit London
Sections of the O2 arena were shredded, trees were felled and homes left without power as Storm Eunice battered London with gusts of about 70mph.
All of London's main rail stations suspended services on Friday and the London Fire Brigade declared a major incident in response to the number of 999 calls it received.
