Landmark sari exhibition opens at Design Museum

The first-large scale exhibition in the UK to examine the contemporary Indian sari has opened at the Design Museum in London.

There are about 60 examples of saris on show, including the first one worn to the Met Gala in New York.

BBC London went to meet the Kensington museum’s head of curatorial Priya Khanchandani.
