A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old woman.

Police were called just after 22:00 GMT on 24 December to reports of a woman with a stab injury at a home in Spenlow House, Jamaica Road, Bermondsey.

The woman, who has been named as Kacey Clarke, died at the scene. She and the teenager knew each other, the Metropolitan Police said.

The suspect is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, to face the charge, the force added.

Her family are being supported by specially trained officers.
