Further murder charges over Croydon stabbing

Two more men have been charged with the murder of Michael Patrick Afonso Peixoto, who was found stabbed in Croydon, south London, last month.

Omari Peat, 22, of Mitcham, was arrested on 24 December and released on bail. He was re-arrested on Thursday and charged, as was Zac Dylan Baako, 28, of no fixed address.

Both are due to appear at a magistrates' court on Saturday.

John Budal, 19, was charged with Mr Peixoto's murder last month.

The teenager, of Thornton Heath, who is also accused of robbery, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis, appeared at the Old Bailey on 3 January.

Mr Peixoto was found with stab wounds in Mayfield Crescent, Thornton Heath, at about 22:30 GMT on 19 December.

The investigation into the 27-year-old's death remains ongoing, the Met Police said.
