Pantomime: New exhibition in London traces history of panto

Pantomime is a big part of British culture, especially around Christmas time, as family-friendly shows and household names in costume captivate audiences at venues throughout the UK.

Most of them are based on well-known children's stories, with audience participation a key part of it.

A new immersive show in the heart of London's West End traces the history of pantomime across three centuries.

The History of Panto is being held at The Imaginarium Gallery until Friday, 16 February.
