A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court over charges linked to the fatal shooting of a woman in east London.

Lianne Gordon, 42, died at the scene in Vine Close, Hackney, in December 2023.

The teenager, who cannot be named because of his age, was previously charged with her murder.

He appeared at Stratford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with possession of a firearm with intent, possession of a bladed article and affray.

Met Police said the charges were linked to the shooting and inquiries are continuing.

The youth is also charged with the attempted murder of a 20-year-old man and of a 16-year-old boy.

He will next appear at the Old Bailey on 27 March.
