Jake Muir could look more unkempt than in the Met's photo, the force says

The Metropolitan Police is appealing for help in finding a wanted man believed to be hiding in west London.

The force said Jake Muir of Feltham is wanted after having been recalled to prison, and he is thought to be in the Feltham or Hanworth areas.

The 27-year-old is also wanted for alleged possession of an offensive weapon and theft of a motor vehicle.

The Met has described him as "dangerous", and is warning the public that he should not be approached.

Muir is about 6ft 3ins (1.9m) tall, with black hair, a bushy beard and a tattoo on his right arm which says "Freedom", the Met said.

"He is believed to be more dishevelled than he appears in the photo with longer hair and an unkempt beard," a Met spokesperson said.

The force is urging anyone with information to contact them.

Anyone who spots Muir is asked to call 999 immediately, the spokesperson said.
