Detectives have released an E-fit image of a man they want to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted and punched west London.

A woman in her mid-30s was sat on a bench in Wendell Park, Hammersmith, at 09:15 GMT on 3 February when she was approached by an unknown man.

He grabbed and kissed her and made sexual comments to her, the force said.

The victim pushed him away and he punched her in the eye before fleeing.

Investigating officer PC Louise Trott said: "The woman was sat minding her own business when she was subject to a horrible assault.

"We are following a number of enquiries and urgently need to identify the man pictured.

"If you have information that could help us, please make contact immediately."
