St George's Day: Morris dancers bring in celebrations

This St George’s Day, The Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men serenaded Leadenhall Market with traditional Morris dancing.

Morris dancing itself is a traditional English folk dance accompanied by music. It dates back to the 15th Century.

Based in Surrey, the dancing team, which formed in 1979, dance in their own Ewell tradition.
