Rural charity seeks post offices in Norfolk villages
- Published
A charity aiming to protect rural life and community wants to take over more village post offices in Norfolk.
Norfolk Rural Community Council has already stepped in to save a post office at Mileham near Dereham.
Council member Peter Smith said this was the first initiative of its kind in England and the charity was in constant contact with the Post Office.
"We've not yet got a list but I'm sure in the next year there will be two or three where we can help," he said.
