Two men have been arrested after missiles were thrown and rival football fans clashed at an FA Vase semi-final in King's Lynn.
More than 30 police officers were drafted in during Coalville Town's 3-2 defeat of the Linnets at The Walks on Saturday.
Police said they would use CCTV footage to identify those involved in disorder.
A 23-year-old man from King's Lynn and a 22-year-old man from Coalville remain in police custody.
Insp Paul Garrard said: "The majority of the spectators, including 250 travelling fans, were there to enjoy the game.
"Unfortunately this was spoiled by two core groups from either side, who were intent on causing problems throughout the game."
King's Lynn Town FC had already attempted to resolve the issue by ejecting some of the 2,354 spectators from the match and keeping rival groups apart.
