Silence is golden for St Julian's Church in Norwich

St Julian's Church in Norwich is holding a 12-hour silence to give people a reprieve from their hectic lifestyles.
The day of stillness and prayer on 9 July begins with eucharist at 0900 and ends with night prayer at 2045 BST.
Organisers hope that if the event is successful, many others churches around Norwich will join in next year.
"The world is far too busy, people never stop to think and listen," said the Julian Centre's Pauline Lovelock.
"It's quite big on the Continent where whole towns or cities go silent for a complete day."
'Sacred space'
The church, off Rouen Road, is home to the shrine of the 14th Century mystic Julian of Norwich and is a centre of pilgrimage for people from all over the world.
"It's great that it's taking place here, there's something special about this sacred space.
"You don't have to sit for the whole day doing nothing, you can come for a short while if you'd prefer."
