Great Yarmouth Ian Church pub death: Fifth charge

A fifth person has been charged after a man was assaulted outside a Norfolk pub and later died from his injuries.

Ian Church, 40, died in hospital two days after the attack outside the Bricklayers Arms in Nelson Road Central, Great Yarmouth, on 5 May.

A 31-year-old man from Sheerness, Kent, has been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.

He was held in police custody and was due to appear before Great Yarmouth magistrates on Tuesday.

Three men have previously been charged with GBH and a woman with GBH and actual bodily harm (ABH) in relation to the incident.

A 43-year-old man remains on police bail.
