Jonathan Taylor pleads not guilty to Buxton device charge

A 49-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to a charge linked to the discovery of a suspicious device under a car in a Norfolk village.
Police were called to Coltishall Road, Buxton, on 2 September.
Jonathan Taylor, of Southwell Road, Norwich, was charged with doing an act with intent to cause an explosion likely to endanger life.
Mr Taylor, who appeared at Norwich Crown Court, is due to stand trial in February.
He also denied a charge of being in possession of a stun gun.
Two other men, aged 35 and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident. The 35-year-old man will face no further action, while the other remains on bail.
People had to leave six nearby properties while army bomb disposal officers dealt with the device.
Initial examinations indicated the object was safe to remove and it was taken to a forensic laboratory for further examination.
