The eighth Latitude Festival took place at Henham Park in Suffolk between 18 and 21 July 2013.

Villagers performed on the BBC 6 Music stage on Friday. The BBC digital radio station gave its name to the second stage and was broadcasting from the festival throughout the weekend.

The Alcove stage, which was tucked away in the woods near the public campsite, featured Suffolk's Maglia Rosa Group.

Kele Okereke of Bloc Party complained he was suffering from hayfever in the Suffolk countryside as his band headlined the main stage on Friday.

Sharleen Spiteri from Texas performed on the BBC 6 Music stage on Friday.

Eleanor Tatchell, 19, from London, Amy Hannaford, 18, from Devizes and Olivia Prioleau, 18, from Salisbury, were dressed as Pixies and pointing festival-goers in the right direction.

BBC Introducing in Suffolk chose three local bands to perform on the Lake Stage including Port Isla, whose singer Will Bloomfield is from Aldeburgh.

Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs was resplendent in yellow leather and a Michael Jackson T-shirt on the Obelisk stage.

Kraftwerk played their greatest hits including Autobahn, The Model, Trans Europe Express and Tour de France against a backdrop of 3D projections.

Sorry web-users, Kraftwerk's projections only worked if you were there and wearing your 3D spectacles.

Youngsters learnt about traditional rural crafts in the children's area.

Eddie Izzard showed off his Union Jack nail varnish as he closed the weekend in the comedy tent on Sunday.

Apart from a few light showers, the weather remained dry and warm for the weekend, allowing people to sit on the grass and take in the floating dance stage on the lake.
