Man admits dangerous driving in 128mph Thetford chase

A man has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving following a police pursuit in which a car was recorded at 128mph.

Armper Sela, 20, of Sprowston Road, Norwich, was arrested on Saturday after police chased a BMW that failed to stop at 19:30 GMT on the A11 at Thetford.

Sela pleaded guilty at Ipswich Magistrates' Court to dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance.

He was given unconditional bail and will be sentenced at a later date.

Imir Sela, 41, also of Sprowston Road, has been charged with permitting the driving of a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence and permitting the use of a motor vehicle with no insurance.

He was released on bail and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on 26 March.
