- Published
Two men have appeared before magistrates charged with murder after a man was found with fatal injuries at a house.
Matthew Rodwell, from Fincham, Norfolk, died after an attack on Sunday evening in Bulrush Avenue, Downham Market.
Wayne Peckham, 47, and Riley Peckham, 22, of Manby Close, Hilgay, near Downham Market, appeared before Norwich Magistrates.
Both are expected to appear before Norwich Crown Court on Thursday.
Riley Peckham, who was also accused of trying to escape custody and assaulting a police officer, has admitted to those two offences, his solicitor told the court.
Both men have been remanded in custody.
A Home Office post mortem examination found the preliminary cause of Mr Rodwell's death as pending further investigation.
In a statement, Mr Rodwell's parents said: "We're devastated at the loss of our son.
"Words cannot describe how we're all feeling and all we ask is you respect our privacy at this very difficult time."
