A11: Collision closes carriageway near Thetford

Norfolk Police are in attendance of a collision that closed the A11 near Thetford

A major road in Norfolk was closed in one direction following a collision.

The southbound A11 has now reopened but drivers should expect delays in their journey.

The carriageway was shut earlier this afternoon between the A1075 and A134 at Thetford.

National Highways said a gritter was on scene to assist with a spillage and there were also repairs taking place to the barrier.

Norfolk Police have attended, and drivers were being asked to allow extra time for their journeys and to follow diversions, external.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, external, National Highways said traffic was "flowing well" on the approach to the road closure.
