Norfolk coroner appeals for deceased man's next of kin

The Norfolk Coroner's Service has made an appeal to find the next of kin of a man whose body was recovered from the Norfolk Broads.

David Cubberley was 65 and resided in the Hickling broads area. He was last seen on 11 February before extensive searches began to find him.

A body was found on Wednesday at Candle Dyke near Hickling Broad. It was later identified as Mr Cubberley.

No next of kin have yet been identified.

The Norfolk Coroner's Service is trying to trace the next of kin of Mr Cubberley.

Concern for Mr Cubberley's whereabouts was raised when his empty boat was found in reeds in the Hickling Broads.

Police began extensive searches, which included the use of specialist sonar equipment, after increasing concerns that he may have entered the water.

On Wednesday a body was found in water, which has been identified as Mr Cubberley.
