Hockwold stabbing leads to attempted murder arrest

Police have launched an attempted murder investigation after a man in his 80s was stabbed in the neck.

Norfolk Police said it was called to Main Street in Hockwold at about 09:00 GMT on Thursday and arrested a man in his 20s at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

The alleged victim was in a critical but stable condition in hospital, officers said.
