Man in 80s dies a week after stabbing in Hockwold

A man in his 80s has died a week after being stabbed in the neck, police have said.
The man was injured in Hockwold, near Thetford Forest, on Thursday, 29 February at about 09:00 GMT, and a man was charged with attempted murder.
The dead man had initially been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, said Norfolk Police.
He was transferred to the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and died on Thursday, 7 March.
Police were called to Main Street in Hockwold, in Norfolk, and the force said detectives were continuing to investigate and were liaising with prosecutors.
A post-mortem examination would take place in "due course".
A 26-year-old man appeared before magistrates in Norwich on Saturday, 2 March charged with attempted murder.
Ashley Francis, of Whittington Hill, King's Lynn, Norfolk, was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 2 April.
The dead man has not been named by police.
