Job cuts at Northamptonshire boat builder Fairline
- Published
Up to 85 workers could lose their jobs at a luxury boat builder in Northamptonshire.
Fairline Boats, which has factories in Oundle and Corby, said the cuts would protect its "profitability and capability to invest in the future".
The company said the job losses were "regrettable" and has begun a month-long consultation period with staff.
It follows 80 job losses in 2011 after the company was acquired by Better Capital.
In a statement, the company said of the 85 job losses proposed, 65 would be direct and 20 indirect.
The company was unavailable for comment on where the indirect jobs would be lost.
