Wellingborough solar farm proposal suggested

A solar farm which could generate power for up to 2,400 homes is being proposed for a site in Northamptonshire.

The development is being suggested for 60 acres (24 hectares) of land along Doddington Road in Wellingborough.

A public exhibition for local residents is being held on 16 May between 14:00 and 19:00 BST at Great Doddington Hall.

Lincolnshire firm Lark Energy wants to submit a planning application this summer.
