India Chipchase: Man denies rape and murder of barmaid

A man has denied the rape and murder of a bar worker who went missing after a night out.

The body of India Chipchase, 20, was found at a house in Northampton on 31 January.

Bookkeeper Edward Tenniswood, 51, of Stanley Road, Northampton, appeared before Northampton Crown Court and pleaded not guilty to both charges.

He was remanded into custody ahead of a two week trial which is due to start on 18 July.
