Northampton hit-and-run: Pedestrian identified by police

A pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run crash has been identified by police as Abdi Hussain Ali.
Mr Ali was crossing St Andrew's Road, at the junction with Black Lion Hill in Northampton, when he was struck by a black van at 04:10 GMT on Sunday.
The 42-year-old, who was from the town, died after being taken to University Hospital in Coventry.
A 59-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crash and released while inquiries continue.
Northamptonshire Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
