Woman's body found in back of car in Roade

A man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after the body of a 38-year-old woman was discovered in the back of a car.

The woman, who is yet to be identified, was found after officers were called to Abbey Road in Roade, near Northampton, at 12:40 GMT on Saturday.

East Midlands Ambulance Service was also called to the scene.

Northamptonshire Police released the 64-year-old arrested man on bail while investigations continue.
