The A45 was closed in both directions between Thrapston and Raunds after the collision
A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car in Northamptonshire.
A 54-year-old man died as a result of the collision between the Kawasaki motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta, which happened at about 02:30 BST on the A45 between the A14 at Thrapston and B663 at Raunds.
The road was closed in both directions while investigations were carried out but has since reopened.
Northamptonshire Police is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
