'Highly sentimental' medals taken from home near Corby

Police are appealing after military medals awarded around 70 years ago were stolen during a burglary.

The Royal Signals medals were taken along with jewellery, including a gold watch, from a house in Lovap Way, Great Oakley in Northamptonshire.

The theft happened between 18:30 BST and 22:00 on 16 October when the house was accessed via a back window.

Northamptonshire Police wants to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything in Lovap Way or Lewin Road.
