Shane Fox: Parents 'unable to move on' from 2018 murder

The parents of a man who was murdered five years ago say they are "living a nightmare" every day.
Shane Fox, 26, was stabbed in the Hemmingwell Estate in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, in the early hours of 1 December 2018.
Caroline and Ian Fox are hoping for a breakthrough five years to the day since his murder.
Police renewed an appeal for a possible witness captured on CCTV on the night of the murder to come forward.
His killer has never been found and Mr and Mrs Fox believe someone on the estate is "hiding something".
Mrs Fox described her son as a "lovable hooligan" who would "get his hands dirty on everything".
"He'd do car washing, window cleaning, gardens, collect scrap, he was always doing something," she said.
When the police knocked on their door just before 06:00 GMT on that December morning, she said, they had Shane's brother with them.
Mr Fox remembered: "I turned to Craig and said 'what the hell have you done this time?' and he said: 'Dad, get Mum, Shane's been stabbed'.
"I said, 'is he OK?' and one of the officers shook his head and said, 'No, unfortunately he didn't make it'."
Shane, who had two children and was planning to propose to his girlfriend, had been stabbed in the chest at around 02:00 GMT as he walked through the Hemmingwell estate with his brother after a night out.
His father said that, when Christmas came three weeks later, it felt like there was nothing to celebrate.
"We sat in the house, people were knocking on the door, we just didn't answer it. If Shane wasn't there, we didn't want nobody there," he said.
"The tree just sat there on the floor with nothing on it," added Mrs Fox.
The couple is hoping for a breakthrough five years on.
Mrs Fox said: "Someone knows something, someone's hiding something on our estate.
"We can't move on, not knowing who [or] why. You live that nightmare day in, day out, every day."
The senior investigating officer, Det Ch Insp Adam Pendlebury of the East Midlands Major Crime team, said he hoped one particular person might make that breakthrough happen.
"There is still a potential witness we are seeking to trace, who was captured on CCTV walking past the Well Café near Nest Farm Crescent at about 01:55 GMT," he said.
"If that was you, please call us."
