A Labrador enjoys the sunrise in Twywell

Photographers from across Northamptonshire were out earlier to capture a memorable sunrise.

With top temperatures of 13C, well above the national average, today did not feel too wintry.

The sunrise at 08:09 GMT was unusually colourful after overnight rain had cleared away, although the rain returned in some places later in the morning.
