Police issue appeal over Kislingbury River Nene body find

Police are appealing for help in identifying a woman whose body was found in a river.

The body was discovered in the River Nene at Mill Lane in Kislingbury, Northamptonshire, at about 08:00 GMT on Sunday.

Northamptonshire Police said it was not treating the death as suspicious.

It said the woman was white, aged about 55 to 60, with distinctive tattoos, including one of a name on her wrist.

She was wearing a green camouflage jacket, external, a dark grey hooded top, a black t-shirt, and green jogging bottoms with a pair of black Adidas shorts with gold stripes.

She was also wearing low-cut, horse-riding style boots.

Anyone who may know who she was or has relevant information is urged to get in touch.
