Organisers use tonnes of sand to create the beach at Old Market Square
An urban beach will be created in Nottingham's Old Market Square for a fourth time in July.
Nottingham City Council said it will be a chance for residents to enjoy the seaside without leaving the city.
The event will run for five weeks and will include hundreds of tonnes of sand, a giant paddling pool and fairground rides.
The so-called E.On Nottingham Riveria will be in the square between 20 July and 28 August.
Councillor David Trimble, Nottingham City Council's portfolio holder for culture, said: "The Nottingham Riviera will bring the seaside to the city for everyone to enjoy."
