Film-maker Caroline Monnet attends Nottingham WEYA

Film-maker Caroline Monnet is one of 1,000 artists showcasing her work at the World Event Youth Artist festival in Nottingham.

The 27-year-old Canadian's black and white film, Gephyrophobia, explores the phobia of crossing bridges.

The two-minute film was shot around Ottawa and Gatineau in Canada.

Ms Monnet was invited to show Gephyrophobia at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year.

Her work has also been shown at the Toronto International Film Festival and at galleries worldwide.

Ms Monnet described her invitation to attend Nottingham WEYA as a "unique opportunity".
