A woman found dead in a village was killed in a knife attack, police have said.
Clair Ablewhite, 47, was discovered after officers were called to her home in Hall Lane, Colston Bassett, Nottinghamshire, on Saturday.
Police said there were no signs of a break-in before the mother-of-three died.
A 48-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday has been released under investigation.
Nottinghamshire Police said it urgently wanted to speak to a man seen on camera on foot in Hall Lane at about 21:30 GMT on Friday.
He was wearing a hooded jacket, trainers and wore a rucksack on his back.
Assistant Chief Constable Rob Griffin said: "I am sure somebody will know who this is.
"He may hold vital information so I would ask him to come forward, or if anyone recognises him or thinks they know who he might be, I'd ask that they contact the incident room straight away."
Mr Griffin said he would also like to hear from any drivers who were in the area when Ms Ablewhite died.
"We are aware that a number of motorists drove past the area in question at the key time and may have seen a man in the area.
"If that was you and you saw anything at all, or if you have dashcam footage, it is vital that you come forward," he said.
