A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash in Nottinghamshire.

Officers were called to the main A60 junction with the Marr Route at Mansfield at about 04:30 BST on Wednesday after the crash involving a lorry and motorbike.

Police said the male motorcyclist was in hospital but did not give details of his current condition.

Several road closures were in place for more than seven hours.

As well as a closure along the junction, restrictions were put in place in Sherwood Way South, Lindhurst Lane, Bellamy Road, Larch Farm and Litchfield Lane.

They were later lifted at about 12:00.
