Jason Zadrozny: Council leader faces trial outside Nottinghamshire

The leader of Ashfield District Council will stand trial outside Nottinghamshire on charges of fraud and tax evasion.
Jason Zadrozny appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to a series of allegations before his trial.
The 43-year-old, of Sutton Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, is charged with 12 counts of fraud by false representation and four of income tax evasion.The judge agreed to the defence's motion to move the trial.
She indicated it was likely be a significant distance away, telling the hearing: "It's more likely to be West Midlands than East Midlands."
Mr Zadrozny, who represents Ashfield Independents, remains on bail until his next court appearance on 15 November, reports the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
An alternative venue for the trial will be found and a date set for trial.
Mr Zadrozny represents the Larwood ward on Ashfield District Council and the Ashfields division at Nottinghamshire County Council.
