East Midlands Railway services affected after person hit by train

Services have been disrupted after a person was hit by a train between Newark Castle and Nottingham.
East Midlands Railway (EMR) said the lines in both directions between Lincoln and Nottingham were closed earlier.
Services on the Grimsby to Leicester and Newark to Crewe routes have also been affected and people are asked to check online if their train is running.
EMR said: "We are sad to report that a person has been hit by a train."
The company added at 11:50 GMT: "The lines have now re-opened between Nottingham and Lincoln.
"We are now working on restoring the timetable as we have some trains and train crews out of place.
"Please check your journey before travelling."
Tickets can be used with other operators, EMR added.
