Nottingham: Man charged after pedestrian killed in crash

The suspect has been charged with four offences in connection with the fatal crash
A man has been charged after a car being followed by police struck and killed a pedestrian.
Police said the 31-year-old man was hit in Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, shortly after 03:00 GMT on Wednesday and died at the scene.
Joshua Gregory, 27, is facing four charges including causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving whilst uninsured.
He is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Mr Gregory, of Westfield Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, is also charged with failure to stop after a road accident and failure to provide a specimen for analysis, Nottinghamshire Police said.
As the vehicle was being pursued by police at the time, the force has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
